Zayed Sports City (ZSC) team took no prisoners in the 4th Abu Dhabi Football League this week, as they dealt a hammering blow to Shamar's chance of a playoff berth. A fantastic hat-trick from Mubarak Mohammed was the highlight of the impressive performace as ZSC ran in 9-1 winners and keep the fight alive for the top spot in group 2.

Unfortunately for ZSC, the Falcons Academy continued their impressive run with a 4-2 win over ADIB, who have struggled to find their feet in the competitive league. 2 goals from Ahmad Khalaf led the Falcons to their 7th win in 8 games this season. Elsewhere in Group 2, Abu dhabi graduates beat Mubadala 6-1 and the game between victory and al-ittihad ended in 2-2 draw.

Over in group 1, leaders Emirates ID ended 5-2 winners over a resilient Yalla Eat Healthy team whilst USF remained hot on their heels with a comfortable 7-0 win over D.Feras. Kobetas were unable to overcome Sultan Arif Khoury, eventually going down 5-2. Diplomatic and Governmental showed that Irish Wolfhounds bark is worse than their bite eventually winning 7-0.

It was another fantastic week of football at the ADFL with goals aplenty. As we move close to the half way point in the season, competition is really heating up as teams battle to reach the playoffs.
