Another Win Sends Diplomatic & Governmental top of ADFL!

4th win in 5 games puts D&G in pole position!!

Diplomatic & Governmental comfortably beat Money Makers 3-0 to go top of Group 1 in the 4th Abu Dhabi Football League, held at Zayed Sports City. Although they are equal on points, the 3-0 result saw D&G rise above Emirates ID in the rankings thanks to their goal difference. Hamid Othman bagged a brace and Mohamed Juma was on the score sheet to help D&G secure all 3 points as Money Makers failed to cash in on some early opportunities.

Long term group leaders, Emirates ID, were knocked off their perch at the top of Group 1 as they suffered their first defeat of the campaign to the hands of University Sports Federation! Emirates ID were comprehensively beaten 6-0 by USF - who have found some superb form in the past weeks. It was a masterclass in finishing from USF striker Ahmad Al Fekkyy as he walked away with all 6 goals to his name!

Elsewhere in Group 1, D.Feras beat Kobetas 4-1 whilst Sultan Arif Khoury came out on top against Al Hosn, in a 6 point match for the 4th place playoff spot. Yalla Eat Healthy continued their steady season with a 1-0 victory over Irish Wolfhounds.

It was goals galore in Group 2 this week with ZSC putting 9 goals past ADIB and keeping them top of the group by a point. It was end to end in the match between Abu Dhabi Graduates and Falcons Academy which eventually finished 7-5 in favour of the Falcons. Victory hit double figures in their game against Mubadala with Samer Yousef bagging 4 as they ran out 10-1 winners. Al Fuad Sports Club remain hot on the heels of the leaders with a 3-2 victory over Al-ittihad. Al Fuad remain only 1 point behind ZSC in the race to finish top of the group.
