USF bounce straight back from last week's defeat in ADFL

Having stumbled last week to the hands of Diplomatic and Governmental, it was back to winning ways for University Sports Federation (USF) this week in Group 1 of the 4th Abu Dhabi Football League, at Zayed Sports City. USF ran out 4-2 winners against a resilient D.Feras, with goals from Yaseen Al Mosnaf, Tareeq Al Ramy, Frank Michel and Al Hussain Alawy helping them record their 5th win in 6 games. ADFL top goalscorer, Yahya Mourad, struck twice for D.Feras but it was not enough to stop USF who remain in the hunt for top spot of Group 1.

Group 1 leaders Emirates ID continued their fantastic season so far with a 2-0 victory over Yalla Eat Healthy, with goals from Khaled Alhammadi and Abdulsalam Saleh enough to secure all 3 points. This was the 9th win in 11 games for Emirates ID who still remain the only team undefeated in the group. Elsewhere in the group, Diplomatic and Governmental ran out 6-2 winners against Irish Wolfhounds, whilst Kobetas managed to hang on for 2-2 draw with Sultan Arif Khoury.

Over in Group 2, Falcons Academy missed their opportunity to go top as they lost 2-0 to Zayed Sports City (ZSC). Goals from Hamdan Zayed Al Hosani and Hassan Saeed were enough to keep ZSC one point clear at the top of the group. Other results in Group 2 saw Al Fuad Sports Club make it 3 wins out of 3 with a 6-0 win over ADIB, whilst Al-ittihad beat Abu Dhabi Graduates 5-2 and Victory beat Shamar 3-1.
